Zapier is stamped STUCK on our board: owners report they kept using it. The usual reason people look elsewhere is the bill, because Zapier charges per task and every successful action step is a task. Here's how the pricing models differ, from each vendor's own page.

A Zap with one trigger and 5 action steps that runs 300 times a month uses up to 1,500 Zapier tasks (5 × 300; triggers and built-in tools like Filter and Formatter don't count), which is the $39/mo yearly tier. The same workflow on n8n is 300 executions, because n8n counts the whole run once. Make bills in credits per its pricing FAQ, so check how many credits your scenario uses before comparing.
Zapier has the most app connections (9,000+ per its pricing page) and a free trial of Pro. n8n's cheapest hosted plan is in euros and caps you at 5 concurrent executions. Make's paid prices weren't visible to us on Nov 1, 2026, so check make.com/pricing for your region.
