FreshBooks raised plan prices in 2026. Existing customers moved to the new prices starting after March 5, 2026, depending on billing cycle, with at least 30 days' email notice. Anyone who upgraded after January 27, 2026 paid the new price from the first bill.

FreshBooks Payments now charges 2.9% + $0.30 on standard credit and debit cards, and 3.5% + $0.30 on commercial, corporate, business and American Express cards. Advanced Payments (Virtual Terminal) did not change.
Per FreshBooks, a percentage discount carries over and is applied to the new base price. If your subscription lapsed, you come back at current pricing.
On our quotes & invoicing wall: Jobber Core is $29/mo billed yearly, $49 with no commitment (re-checked Nov 2, 2026 on Jobber's page). On the bookkeeping side, Xero US Early is $27/mo after its October increase (details), and QuickBooks Online has a $0 plan with 2 invoices a month.
